is for you!

The MSSL offers teams:

  • organized, friendly competition
  • valuable time-saving tips and shared resources
  • a vote in the league's decision-making process
  • quality swim coaches/instructors by keeping operating expenses low
  • low-cost sports insurance @ $4 per swimmer (required)
  • annual league fees assessed at $100 for a team of 50 or less, $150 with 51-99 swimmers & $200 for over 100 swimmers
  • no one-time joining fee assessed
  • free mentoring program for newly-forming swim teams
  • mentoring program for new team representatives
  • free team page on the league's web site
  • free criminal background checks on all coaches
  • all meet ribbons and awards for the season
  • low meet entry fees of $1.50 per individual event & $6 (or $1.50 per swimmer) per relay team for Division Championship and All-Star Meets
  • university scholarships to qualified league swimmers
  • and Directors and Officers insurance for board members.

    • For the 2008 competition season, the MSSL has 18 swim teams divided into 3 divisions.
