Alignment and Sharpness
The underlying grid is very aparent in this design for the DigiDesign Web Site. You can even tell that the grid is used on most of the other pages. This is really good and a smart choice considering how much information they have for their products. They shift up the layout a little bit, but not to where it is going to confuse the user. I guess that's another reason why I live on this site. That and they are always updating information. Which is another great reason for having good grid to go by.
Color
The colors not only stay consistent with the rest of the site but also the company as a whole. Most of the products carry the gray color scheme and are made of metal covered with hard rubber. It also does a good job of juxtiposing them against some other nice cool and warm colors through out the site.
Consistant with Company
Yeah, this site does it alright. Digidesign is known for staying up to date with technology and doing it with a nice clean look. They are kind of similar to apple. The company has the more is less approach. It is a good look for them considering how much different things each product does. Every product has tons of knobs, but they have done a good job of keeping it user friendly. Sounds like the site, doesn't it?
